Course of tendon damage with LuxMy

The secret of horses' great running and jumping abilities lies in their tendons and ligaments.

As soon as a tendon is stretched beyond its limit under heavy load, tendon fibers begin to tear. This can lead to a complete severance of the tendon—and thus a serious tendon injury.

I've documented a tear of the supporting ligament of the deep flexor tendon here. The treatment is carried out with a near-infrared boot from @luxmy_horse

And what can I say, the owner and I were more than amazed! Neither of us had expected this result. The horse wore the LuxMy boot every day for weeks. You could practically see the swelling disappear.
